DOMAINE BERTAGNA

Welcome
Welcome to Domaine Bertagna - "elegance and purity of the fruit, foe all terroirs and each wine and vintage".

News
19.04.17
In the voineyards
We have just carried out soil quality tests. Every year we proceed to soil tests in some plots in order to control the composition of the soil as well as its biodiversity. This year our tests have been done in our Clos-Saint-Denis. The aim of these tests is to control the iron content of the soil: ferric iron (Fe2+) (red colour) and ferrous iron (Fe3+) (brown colour) at different depths (S=surface, M=middle at about 40cm and F=bottom at about 80cm). This allows to work out whether the soil has enough oxygen (Fe2+) or could be asphyxiated by excess water for example (Fe3+). Here we notice that the soil in our Clos-Saint-Denis vineyard is sound. Il it naturally drained thanks to the stones.

The Domaine Wine_Making Domaine Bertagna across four Seasons Wines of the Domaine Contatc Us News Version Française deutsche Version
Creation Vinium Business & Design
